Thursday was Adler's first day of school/ Mother's Morning Out. He was there from 9am - 1pm. (the longest time away from mommy in a nursery!) But they said he did great! When I came to pick him up, he was laying on his stomach, playing with this toy house. And when he saw me, he said, "MAma!!", which just makes my life! It was a fantastic time for me too. I just went home to catch up on some things. Being at the house by myself was weird! I packed Adler's lunch and couldn't help to pass up the chance to write him his first every lunch note in his first ever lunch on his first ever day of school.

now i'm thinking of you singing this song in college..special K...cereal and milk....sometimes when ek is at school and i'm at home cleaning, i find myself being quiet doing the dishes and then remember that she's not taking a nap..it's too weird!! but FANTASTIC! she goes back this week..2 days in a row!!
