So about that milk belly....

Adler had his 15 month check up today. He rocked the scale at 33lbs 15oz...ouch! (100th percentile) So, Adler has been put on his first diet. The doctor wants to put him on 2% milk and no starchy carbs in between meals (no crackers). Guess it's The Biggest Loser-Baby Style...

Practicing eating with a bowl...didn't go so well....

Playin' in the Backyard

Here are some pictures from yesterday. We spent the afternoon playing in the backyard with the dogs. Adler had a blast finding a new freedom of running in the yard!

Many thanks to good friends and a rockn hot husband

Last night was Stephen's show at Smith's Olde Bar! He and Misty did an awesome job! The turn out was amazing! The place was completely packed and the organizer said it was a record setting night! We had so many people there to encourage, support and cheer them on...I know it meant so much to them to hear everyone yelling for more! Thank you so much to our friends for coming, and for all the friends you brought with you! Also to our families for being there..PT gets the "furthest traveled" award for flying in from Houston, while Rylie comes into a close second for driving from Dalton. Stephen, there was something different in your performance last night. You looked so at home on stage-so confident, and you should be because you are so talented and hot! I am so proud and blessed to be your wife!

Adler at the Nursery

For the past two weeks, I have been attending a Women's Bible study at the Church of the Apostles. I originally signed up for the Tuesday class, but after attending, I was so impressed, I signed up for the Thursday class as well! So, I may be over committing myself right now, but I feel like I am in a season of life where this type of "mom" ministry is extremely valuable. Anyways, while I am at the Bible study, childcare is provided. (how awesome it that?) Here is Adler in the "nursery bus" with the other kids in his class. He is adjusting to the separation thing, but I think this will be good practice for our mother's morning out class this summer. How cute is that little girl sitting next to Adler? Colby is in the front row of the second picture. How pathetic does Adler look??!

snow...Snow...SNOw...SNOW!

Adler's first snow! It's been a fun day! We got a couple inches of snow while Adler napped this afternoon. When he woke up, he had fun playing in all the white stuff! Stephen took some better pictures, but these are from my phone:

Adler's Easter outfit

Ok, I know it's only January, but I couldn't resist buying this outfit for Easter. I hope it still fits him!!

new game

Adler has a new game he loves to play after waking up from a nap. He LOVES for me to throw all his stuffed animals into his crib (it's more fun if the stuffed animals have noises when flying through the air). Then he'll throw them back at me with his own made up noises. Oh the joy of being so easily entertained!

Lunch on Daddy

The other day, Adler and I met Stephen at Chick-fil-A for lunch. Adler had spent the morning in a nursery while I attended a Bible study. I thought he might at least have enough energy to make it through lunch, but not so much. He slept the entire lunch on daddy's chest. Funny how a plane flying over head at home can wake this child up, but screaming toddlers at Chick-fil-A doesn't? How does that work?

Hello Adler!

Found this old video we made for Adler. Just had to post it. Happy Friday!

Tiny Adler???

Who is this? I just don't remember Adler being so small, but he was. Isn't it crazy!!!

Bye-bye Aunt Rylie.......

Okay, I know she is going to kill me for posting that pic, but how could I not?? Aunt Rylie is training in Dalton, GA for a new job for the next 10wks. She will be placed in a city TBD for her new position. We hope she will be placed back here in Atlanta with us, but know God may have other plans. We are excited for Aunt Rylie's new adventure, but sad to see her possibly move! Good luck, Rylie, we'll be praying for you!
xoxo
P.S. If you are wondering what is on her head it's a "head massager"

More Christmas

No reason for this post

No reason for this post other than I love Adler's outfit in the chair pic. I was just able to snap a pic before he pulled his hat off. The second pic just shows off how big he's getting!!

Grammi and Tom Tom live in the computer

I'm afraid this is what Adler thinks when he sees his Grammi and Tom Tom talking to him on his Daddy's computer. He thought it was pretty cool, though, and wasn't afraid to do all his "tricks" for the talking computer. But I still love technology.......
