So, over the weekend I got the chance to do two shoots with friends of mine. Let's call it the kick-off of my actually getting paid for some of the shots I'm taking. I had such a blast. From driving around to find locations to shoot before the actual shoot, to scrambling to get something decent shot with kids that may or may not look at the camera at any given moment.

In the past I've taken some great pics for friends, just randomly, and in most cases by sheer luck at parties or get togethers where there is no pressure whatsoever to take a good pic. Now I definitely feel the heat a bit more when I'm shooting because I know that there is an expectation for something that's actually print worthy. Overall, it was such a fun weekend and I can't wait to see how these families react to their photos.
