While I was in Texas, my mom helped me sew together the green and white striped sear sucker jumper. I have always been able to sew pillows, curtains (things with straight lines), but really didn't know how to read a pattern. She walked me through the whole thing and we finished with the cutest outfit for Adler! He wore it to church on the Sunday we got back!
These past couple days, I've been working on another outfit (same pattern, just different fabric) while the memory of the first one is fresh on my mind. I finally finished it today! I even did button holes with my sewing machine! The straps turned out a little long, so I may need to go back and shorten them, but otherwise, it turned out great! Thanks mom! Now can you fly to Atlanta so I can learn another pattern???

way to go girl! These rompers are too cute! I may have to get you to make one for Miles once he gets a little older! That way he won't grown out of it so fast! Good work!!!!
Ooohhhh...I want to learn!!! Will you teach me? Seriously?!? Forget getting together for lunch when we come to town...I want a sewing class! :)
