Since June we've been on the road and on the plane visiting friends and family. It's been a great summer, but I'm ready to be home for a while! We are taking lots of family pictures, Stephen is just so busy with his photography business, that it seems difficult to find the time for personal family picture printing and organization! Here's what our schedule has been:
In June:
week in Houston
In July:
a week in Watercolor, FL
a weekend in NYC
In August:
a weekend in San Diego
a weekend in Ft. Smith, AR
a weekend in Vicksburg, MS
In September:
a week in Houston
a weekend in Dallas
a weekend in Gulf Shores, AL
That's 7 states, 10 flights, and 10 road trips in 4 months!!!
The boys are doing great! Adler is ready to get back to school (he's missed the first 2 weeks), we are planning a busy October- Adler will be turning 3 and Stephen will turn the big 3-0. We also have tickets to the U2 concert for October 6th! Stephen has a very busy photography month as well! Eli Beckett is crawling, or dragging himself across the house. He is rocking on all fours, but not quite crawling on all four. He is attempting to pull up on things, so we are having to revisit some of the baby proofing things around the house. He's been awfully quiet (often seeming to just be taking it all in), but has suddenly discovered that he can make noises just as loud as Adler's and they seem to have their own kind of competition. Eli loves for me to kiss the back of his neck when I put him down in his crib for bedtime. His little giggles are so cute, even when he is so tired and has his eyes closed, he still manages a little grin when I kiss his neck and say, "I love you". He loves dance parties with Adler and gets excited when I turn on the CD player in our bedroom. They are sweet brothers!
We are getting ready for fall and routine at our house! October is my favorite month in Atlanta!
