Still annoyed....

OK, so I'm trying to get over this, but I'm still annoyed by an incident that happened at the zoo today. Adler and I were visiting the panda exhibit. Adler joined all the other kids, pressed against the glass, to see the baby panda. Next thing I know, there is a heavy tap on my shoulder...turn around for this man to say with an irritated tone, "Your child is blocking my son's view!". I turned around to see his kid was in a stroller and he was expecting all these kids in a crowded zoo exhibit to keep back so his poor kid, who was strapped into his stroller, could see. It was quite annoying because I mean, seriously, a) those are quite high expectations in a public park with kids everywhere and b) his tone was what irritated me the most like Adler was purposely keeping his kid from seeing the panda c) that he singled out Adler amongst all the kids...I mean, I know the boy is big for his age, but come on...

Later, I tried to tell myself, maybe his kid was handicapped and that's why he didn't take him out of the stroller like all the other kids or for his sensitivity on the subject. Then, I felt sorry for him. But then we ran into them later (Adler literally almost ran into them) by the Meer Cats, where the dad finally realized you have to take your kid out of the stroller if you expect them to see anything and the kid was running around, so there went that theory.

Anyways, maybe venting about it on my blog will help, but it just irritated me. I'm sure this kind of thing will happen again....and sometimes I'm the crazy one, so I guess I'll give the guy a break.
