These are days to remember

So much going on at our house these days! Here are some things to remember!
Eli is 10.5 wks and is smiling and cooing and loves to interact! He will stick his tongue back at you when playing! He loves his activity mat and thinks the singing star is especially funny. He is getting better and better at tummy time and super strong! He will push with his legs when given support...it's like he just can't wait to take off! He was almost 12lbs at his two month appointment. He is in the 50th % and is growing at a steady rate! At this age, Adler was close to 14lbs, so we'll see if we have another "beef cake" baby or if Eli will give his mom and dad's backs a break! He definitely has the same lung capacity as his brother. Maybe we'll have two singers?

Adler is 2.5 yrs and doesn't miss a beat! He is saying and doing some of the funniest things! Some of my favorite:
"Good morning, Sunshine!" he will say this to me when I come get him in the mornings and to Eli when Eli gets up from a nap
"I need to feed Eli first" a response to when he was instructed it was bath time. I'm sure he's heard his mom say this a million times
"Here's your pink one, mommy!" Adler loves my pink silk robe. When I wear it, he likes to rub my arm or leg. I've been laying in bed a bit longer in the mornings when Eli is still asleep and Stephen will get up with Adler at his 6:30 or 7 awake times :) However, Adler usually will come and cuddle with me. Or on this day, he brought me my robe to try to coax me out of bed.
"Good job, Mommy! You're smart!" after pouring him a cup of his milk
"Mommy, can I have some of that?" while nursing Eli....hmmm...an explanation of who's milk is who's followed.
Me: "Adler, do you want to go sit on the potty?" Adler: "No, mommy, just diapers." He's definitely not interested in potty training!

We had a wonderful Easter with Grammi and TomTom, Stasia, Rylie and Bryan, and the Presleys at the house! Stephen took some pictures, so we'll have to post those. It was fun to hide Easter eggs for the first time! Adler enjoyed it, but wanted to open each egg before putting it in his basket to see which kind of candy was in there.

I had the cutest, most perfect Easter outfits for the boys, but I sadly never got a picture of them together! I got these handmade, monogrammed, matching outfits off of etsy.com. (great experience) Eli pooped on his before we even made it out of the door before church. Then, as soon as Adler got home from church, he laid on the grass in his and got mud all over the front! Of course!! After lots of stainsticking, I'll have to restage another photoshoot!

Tate and I have the same conversation about potties. I am looking forward to the days of only one in a diaper :). I'm sure it will come eventually.
