Meet Adler Hunton

Meet our Adler Hunton! Age 20 weeks (in this pic)! This is the very day we found out we were having a boy! Here he is waving hi to you...

What an exciting day it was. If you have had the amazing experience of seeing the miracle of a baby moving inside of you or your wife, then you understand. If you have yet to had this experience, then you have so much to look forward to! The most beautiful thing was the spine - I know that sounds weird, but it was amazing! You see every single detail..it was absolutely one of the most incredible things I have ever experienced. I can only imagine what birth will be like. Hopefully, they will have the epidural juices flowing :)

Today, Adler is 29 1/2 weeks. We had a dr's appointment today. Dad came too. We met a new doctor in our practice. First, she was running an hour behind - then they brought us into the room where we waited probably an additional 20 minutes. Don't you love moving from the waiting room, just to be brought to a smaller waiting room? It was a bit maddening. Anyways, she did the quick stomach measurements, baby heart beat listening (always very cool), and that was it!

One of my favorite experiences of our waiting is when Stephen began admiring the children's artwork in the room. He noticed one child's crayon drawing of an ant family. Above the picture were the words "I love singing The Ants Go Marching". Stephen read this outloud and then asked me, "Dave Matthews?". HA! I love it! He will be the world's cutest dad. You should see him with our God-child, Graycen. He adores her, and you can tell she loves his attention!

We are excited for what God is doing and the amazing person He is creating!
